An 18 year old student has died following an attack in which he was stabbed in the heart in St.
John’s Wood, north west London.
The family of the murdered victim, Jevon Henry, have appealed for information relating to his
murder. Jevon was attacked at approximately 8pm on Wednesday by a gang of men described as being of
Asian or Arab appearance. He was found seriously injured by police in Paveley Street, St. John’s
Wood and taken to hospital where he died at 10.45am the following morning. The result of a post
mortem examination revealed that the cause of his death was a single stab wound to the heart.
In a statement from his family, Jevon is described as “a committed student who wanted to
eventually have his own business and who had a passion for bikes and motorbikes… He had two
part-time jobs alongside his studies and was a diligent and hard working person". Jevon left St
Lucia at the age of 13 to come to Britain and was studying to go into the panel-beating and
body-spraying trade.
"No justification"
The statement went on to say that the family hoped that those responsible for his murder would be
brought to justice and added; "[t]his was such a senseless attack and there can be no
justification for taking the life of somebody who had so much to live for and who was so loved by
all that knew him."
The Police are currently keeping an open mind about the motive for the murder. Det Ch Insp Tony
Nash, who is leading the investigation, said: "This was a violent murder of a young man who had
dreams and aspirations that will never be realised." The police have opened an incident room
and are appealing for anyone with information relating to Jevon’s murder to contact them on 020

NO DISRESPECT WHY WAS JEVON KILLED? know why it was over drugs, little man and him went to pick up some money £2000 from the guys or they threathened them that they were going to kidnap them, so it wasn't easy to get £2000 and out of some wrong ended up someone dying. so the blame is on their own actions and little man for taking jevon with him.

I read the news that the 4 boys who took part in yr murder are on trail today may justice be done for you Jevon, your family and friends.. i only ever remember bumbing in to jevon about 3 or 4 years ago he wanted to set me up with his cousin, hehe which was sweet (it showed he cared for his family & he gave my number to his cousin, without me knowing lol) who i think lived in hackney, im sorry i cant remember your name, & i lost your number... if your reading this i dont know if you remember me but we met up with each other in north london wood green about 3 or 4 years ago. i just wanted to stop by hear and say sorry for the loss of your cousin, may god be with you and your family & im sure jevon is watching over you all.
